STANDARDS ALIGNMENT

Standards-aligned anti-fog verification

NFG materials can be configured for safety eyewear, ski goggles, swimming eyewear and transparent components according to finished-product use, substrate and customer specification.

Occupational eye and face protection

The current route uses ISO 18526-2:2020 test methods with ISO 16321-1:2021 finished-product requirements.

Sports eyewear

Ski goggles align with ISO 18527-1:2021; swimming eyewear aligns with ISO 18527-3:2020 and its 2025 amendment.

Customer-retained European methods

EN 168:2001 and EN 174:2001 are withdrawn, but their anti-fog methods can be retained where cited by an existing drawing or contract.

Scope of conformity: NFG materials can support the applicable anti-fog requirement. Conformity of a complete spectacle or goggle depends on testing all applicable finished-product requirements.
